About Us
We are proud first-generation Greek sisters, raised on the traditions and values our parents brought with them from their small rural village in Greece. When they immigrated to the United States as adults, they carried more than memories — they brought the wisdom of generations, including time-honored natural practices used since ancient times.
One of those traditions was Agno.
In our village, Agno was more than just a balm — it was a trusted essential, passed down for over 100 years, used to soothe, protect, and restore the skin through every stage of life. We grew up watching our mother craft it with care, using pure ingredients gathered from the land. When we began making it here in the U.S., we shared it with friends and family, who instantly fell in love with it.
Our sister, a pharmacist, studied its ingredients and confirmed what we had always known — Agno’s formula carries true value for skin health. Later, when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, she turned to Agno during her radiation treatments. Applying the balm daily, she experienced minimal burns or scarring — a testament to the soothing, restorative power of its four pure ingredients. Her experience deepened our belief in Agno and inspired us even more to share it with the world.
Today, our mother still makes the balm with us, infusing each batch with her knowledge, skill, and love. Every ingredient is ethically sourced from small local farmers in Greece — communities we are proud to support and give back to.
We believe in sustainability, family, and the strength of natural care. As a women-owned, women-built, and women-operated company, we handcraft each small batch here in the USA, preserving the purity, simplicity, and effectiveness of the original recipe.
Agno is more than skincare — it’s our family’s heritage, a gift from our village to your home.
